MSA's TransAire™ and Custom Air V® Escape respirator units include cylinder, carrier, hood tube and hood assembly. Lightweight TransAire™ aluminum cylinders withstand 0-160F temperatures. TransAir™5 pressurized to 2216 psig, and TransAire™10 pressurized to 3000 psig both deliver 40 lpm flow rate for normal aerobic escape applications. Custom Air V® with composite cylinder has high 72 lpm flow rate to support extremly aerobix escape for five minutes. All are NIOSH approved.
